Electrical Industry Turns Up the Heat to Feed Hungry Children! Register Your Event Online Today

There's no doubt about it...summer is heating up. Taking a cue from Mother Nature, Hungry for Change invites you to turn up the heat on your fundraising efforts as momentum is built towards World Food Day in October.

Now is a great time to hold special events like BBQs, volleyball tournaments, hike-athons, campfire socials and corn roasts. Whether it’s something new and hip (geocaching) or something tried and true (the lemonade stand), summer helps put the ‘fun’ in fundraising. To register your event and set up your own personalized fundraising page, click here.

Canada's electrical industry is hungry for change, and together we can make a world of difference. It was our industry effort that helped provide food and water to 200 children at the House of Hope orphanage after the devastating earthquake in Haiti. That’s real life-saving impact!

The 2010 goal is to exceed last year's accomplishment of $340,000 with more than 350 participating companies/branches. So rally the troops, make your donation or plan your event today...and help feed children worldwide!

Brews Swings into Action…

A heartfelt thanks to Brews Supply Ltd. who once again showed generous support for the Hungry for Change Campaign – this time on the golf course! Through the sale of ‘mulligans’, Brews customers, their manufacturers and employees raised enough funds to plant two community gardens, provide 10 families with seeds and tools, purchase 10 goats and 150 chickens for impoverished farming families, and serve up 1,600 meals for hungry children. Not bad for a day on the green!
