This week has been full of excitement. It centers on an attempt to migrate two IEC harmonics standards into Canadian Standards at a CSA Technical Committee. The industry’s view is that if there is to be a standard it should be a harmonized North American Standard, one that reflects the North American distribution systems, which we are working towards.
At the same time the industry coalition has launched a formal appeal against one of these standards that has cleared the committee work and is ready for publication. We are coordinating with our members, other Canadian associations that support our position, and our US
