'E-waste' changes to be debated

Members of the EU Parliament are expected to debate changes to rules on how bulky, and often hazardous, rubbish is collected all over Europe.

Its widely recognized that the "WEEE directive", (waste electrical and electronic equipment), does not work as it should.

Kurt-Ludwig Gutberlet from Bosch & Siemens Appliances, says the national authorities have an obligation to take control and responsibility of recycling, and not just the producers of electrical products. Read more.
