Commodity-based Industries to Recover Quickest: Study Reports

Not all industries will recover at the same pace from last year's global economic downturn, and some are "unlikely to fully recover," according to a study of Canadian industry released on Tuesday.

The Canadian Industrial Profile Service, a five-year forecast released by the Conference Board of Canada and Business Development Bank of Canada, forecasts production, revenue, cost and profitability between now and 2014 for six industries:
electrical equipment, fabricated metal products, machinery manufacturing, oil and gas support activities, professional services and textiles and apparel. Read more.
