RIM Park Event Designed to Attract Students to Trades

The Ontario Robotics Championship took place on Monday at RIM Park. This event is a three-day Ontario Technological Skills competition, which took over the sprawling recreation complex on University Avenue.

The event has $5 million worth of equipment donated and loaned, along with supplies and hundreds of volunteers to run competitions and display booths. Eaton has donated electrical equipment to skills Ontario for years, but this was the first year the company had set up a booth to talk with students walking by. Read more.
