Ideal Supply Facility in Midland, Ontario Ravaged by Tornado
Midland, Ontario declared a state of emergency and a swath of cottage country was under a tornado warning on Wednesday night after a severe thunderstorm destroyed businesses. The severe storm struck without warning shortly after 6 p.m., and within minutes residents had reported downed power lines, gas leaks and damaged businesses throughout Midland -- including the Ideal Supply facility. Watch video of destruction. (The destroyed building referred to in the video is the Ideal Supply facility). No Ideal Supply employees in Midland were harmed.
